Market Price
Competitive prices are negotiated for each category of stock. A range
of outlets are available and animals will be allocated to the most appropriate
depending of the type and time of year.
Movement
We undertake to move stock as soon as possible. If there is likely to
be any delay we will inform you in good time.
Representation
NCP believes that a major part of its role is representing its member's
interests. This is especially relevant to dead weight selling, when
often the producer loads his animals to travel many miles to a processing
plant. A this point there may be very little an individual can do to
solve problems, which may occur. Consider the missing ear tag/forgotten
passport? In some cases the producer cannot be contacted at the necessary
time, he can then be assured that NCP will give him best representation.
Haulage
North Country Primestock only uses the services of ABM/FABBL assured
hauliers with a sound reputation for prompt time keeping and high animal
welfare standards.
Weighing
and Grading
We will send you a copy of the original abattoir grade sheet showing
your weights and grades. This information can be faxed or e-mailed to
you if you have the facility.
Payment
Insurance
All transactions are insuranced to give you the confidence to market
your stock through NCP.
Computerised
Seasonal Trade Analysis
All business is stored on our main database. This holds all transactional
information to enable us to monitor grades and trends. Members can be
provided with this information at the end of the season to reflect on
breeding/feed performance.
Membership
Further benefits are available to committed members of NCP in the form
of additional services. These include a regular newsletter, members
meetings and discounts on farm inputs.
